Biography

Blaine Sheffer is an award winning professional photographer working in the Washington DC area. His work has been exhibited across the nation at university galleries and private galleries.

After teaching college photography and art appreciation for the past 15 years and operating a successful portrait and wedding studio in York, PA., Blaine has moved on to do only what he desires...erotic art, nudes, distinguished portraits, streetscapes and landscapes. He is recognized for a highly interpretative style of classical portraiture, the hallmark of which is a rich dimensionality similar to what one observes in fine oil paintings.

Mr. Sheffer studied art extensively at the Maryland Art Institute and at Millersville University where he was awarded a special graduate assistantship in the area of photography which culminated in his Masters degree. He has been a member of many professional organizations including the Professional Photographers of America and the College Art Association.
